Checking to see if the game is running in the background via task manager (its not) Temporarily disabling my anti-virus software Making sure by OS and display drivers are up to date Starting the game directly from my Steam library Starting the game via The desktop shortcut I've tried the following with no change in behavior: I'll get a brief popup message saying that steam is booting up the game, and then nothing happens. Bought the game yesterday and installed it.
